Safety

Safety and proper training are priorities at Bayne Development Group. All new hire onboarding is done through our corporate offices. Each new member of our team goes through an extensive orientation program which provides a wealth of information regarding personal safety, crew safety, environmental health issues and the priorities of Bayne Development Group in regards to safety. Our company offers a complete listing of courses revolving around safety and training, some of which include Project Management, Supervisor Training, Health and CPR, OSHA Safety and Sexual Harassment.

Each project is closely monitored for potential risks to the health and well-being of both onsite workers and the public. Environmental awareness is also part of our promise to safety. Everyone on the job site shares an equal responsibility to maintain a safe environment. Superintendents are responsible for the safety of the crew and taking corrective action in order to avoid any safety hazards.

Job Description for Bayne Development Group: Start to finish project management duties, including but not limited to meeting with clients, reviewing the project, offering suggestions, completing the job estimate or bid, completing contract documents, managing all stages of the construction of the project, budget management, assist in billing, planning and scheduling, materials and equipment logistics, subcontractor management, meeting municipality requirements, negotiations, coordinate with engineers, and cost and quality control.

  • Knowledge in all aspects of restaurant, retail, interior and ground-up construction.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of field personnel, employees, management, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers and owners.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks / able to prioritize tasks.
  • Read and understand project plans, specifications and other construction documents.
  • Schedule and coordinate all construction activities by subcontractors and company field personnel for efficient production.
  • Ensure all subcontractors are adhering to all appropriate safety regulations.
  • Responsible for coordinating and scheduling work on multiple projects and will interact with estimators and the budget analysts to insure project deadlines and budgets are met.
  • General oversight of daily construction activities at multiple work sites.
  • Assisting in scheduling workers and the delivery of equipment and materials.
  • Working with subcontractors to complete project within the given budget and time frame provided.
  • Resolving contract disputes and arranging any necessary order changes.

Job Description for Bayne Development Group: Our estimators are hands-on professionals who are responsible for preparation of complete estimates and proposals, utilizing documents ranging from concept sketches to complete construction drawings and specifications.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge in all aspects of restaurant, retail, interior renovation, ground-up construction and government projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of field personnel, employees, management, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers and owners.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks / able to prioritize tasks.
  • Read and understand project plans, specifications and other construction documents.
  • Resolving contract disputes and arranging any necessary order changes.
  • Solicit subcontractor and/or supplier information and pricing.
  • Assist in Good Faith Efforts and outreach.
  • Prepare instructions to bidders, bid form and other bid solicitation information.
  • Perform and/or manage the quantity survey and pricing effort for internal budget.
